The Hellenic Basketball Federation (HBF) launched its first comprehensive Social & Environmental Responsibility Strategy (2024–2028). It has been designed specifically for the Greek region and incorporates the UN Sports for Climate Action principles, including digital platforms for education, reporting of environmental indicators, and sustainable practices in matches, facilities and travel management. It is the first Greek basketball federation with such a strategic framework.
